Two-day trekking with the wonderful horses of the Leventina Western. Dates 2025: 02-03 & 29-30 july / 12-13 & 27-28 august Riding these horses you will discover the magical nature of the valley. You will ride on easy trails and wooded paths Meeting point: the exact meeting point will be communicated well in advance via e-mail or WhatsApp (at least 3 days in advance). As horses graze between Osco and Giornico, the location will vary. (15 minutes difference by car) Equipment: We can provide a helmet free of charge. Requirements: Riding experience is recommended. Group size: min 2 people max 6 with experienced riders. Languages spoken: We speak Italian, German, English and some French Please let us know your height and weight when purchasing your ticket. Our horses have a maximum load capacity of 100 kg.
Jour 1
The trail climbs to the tourist area of Carì. We continue on the ski slopes until we reach an altitude of 2100. A trek that is not too strenuous but still requires small stretches of walking to help our faithful companions on the more divergent trails. Upon arrival, the magical atmosphere of a yurt (traditional Mongolian tent) awaits you and you will spend a night immersed in the sounds of nature at high altitude.
Jour 2
After a healthy and hearty breakfast of homegrown and organic products, we will climb back into the saddle and ride down the mountain slope toward the valley. For lunch you will stop in a quiet forest clearing and enjoy the beautiful companionship of riders and horses
