Wandern in Longyearbyen mit Backyard Svalbard

Glacier hiking is our signature hike. Walking on the blue ice a fantastic experience! The tour starts with a 1 hour RIB-transport over the fjord to the bay called Borebukta​,​ where we are going for the glaceri called Borebreen. We are bringing lunch​,​ snacks and hot drinks with us​,​ and leave the boat there for 7 hours. The view of the glacier itself is fantastic​,​ and we are even going to explore it closer with crampons and ice axes. You will be be walking in a rope team. The glacier hiking technique is desiring some strenght and mobility​,​ so you need to be in physical good condition. The price is total for the whole group 2-6 pax.
