Ski touring lesson - first timer

FIRST APPROACH Do you know how to ski or snowboard on groomed slopes? Learn the basics of ski mountaineering: safety equipment​,​ tools​,​ use of sealskins for the ascent and off-piste skiing technique. The meeting point will be directly at the rental shop where we will take everything we need for the day. We will have the opportunity to talk about safety equipment in the event of an avalanche and risk reduction in the mountains. We will then head out onto the slopes as soon as possible to climb and then tackle our first descent. We will learn some basic concepts about climbing with sealskins and risk reduction techniques. At the end of the day​,​ I am pretty sure you will fall in love with ski mountaineering and we will return to the village for a drink and a group discussion. The descents could be off-piste or on groomed trails depending on the level of the participants. You don't have to be a good skier​/​snowboarder​,​ really! You just need to know how to ski in some way and be prepared to put yourself out there. Our aim is to enjoy a day in the mountains​,​ learn the basics of ski touring and get to know your new passion!
