ALEVE' FOREST. In an enchanted and ancient forest for an immersion in nature and Alpine history The largest stone pine forest in the Alps and is one of the oldest forests in Europe! In fact​,​ it is part of the protected areas of the Monviso Park and contains within itself a treasure chest of natural biodiversity and Alpine history to be preserved! The natural history that has brought it to the present day is fascinating and so are the interconnections with the animals and people who have lived there for centuries! We will explore it with a circular tour​,​ also encountering 2 alpine lakes. The highest point​,​ the Bagnour refuge will be our stop for the lunch break.
